It's generally safe to take ibuprofen with either Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Asprin (ASA - acetylsalicylic acid). It can have a negative effect on the anti-platelet effect of Asprin though, so if Asprin is being administered for heart problems, mixing ibuprofen might not be helpful.
