I have had tried to get adderall multiple times from the VA but have had no luck despite a prescription from a regular doctor and a diagnosis from a VA doctor. VA will provide medications that are prescribed by VA providers in conjunction with VA medical care. Medications are prescribed from an approved list of medications called a formulary. as opposed to Viagra or Levitra due to cost, unless there is a compelling medical reason.
