Should i stop taking metronidazole if i have dark urine

I was taking metronidazole for 5 days now I have a thick dark brown clumpy discharge I was also told i might have HPV is this normal or should I be? Should there be a clumpy whitish yellow discharge during the use of metronidazole gel? Will metronidazole pills make u have a white discharge?

My gyno prescribed metronidazole for BV. A few days into my dosage, I started experiencing UTI-like symptoms such as frequent urination and an increased feeling of needing to urinate. Can the meds cause this and does this stop when I finish the meds? I am taking metronidazole and have dark brown urine.
