First, demand that the doctors abide by their Hippocratic oath (first, do no harm). Depakote and lithium are almost worse than the disease. I KNOW! The mood swings can be next to impossible to prevent. For myself, I prefer to control the worst with sedatives as needed. The mood swings are part of who I am. For me, lack of sleep is a definite tell so that I can use some lorazepam to sleep off the worst of the mood swing. You need a cooperative doctor who will help you as a person instead of just another crazy. Sorry.

Well, I was laughing throughout the whole thing. I think it was slightly too dramatic to take seriously. Like being in status epilepticus for some unknown time in front of her daughter, that cant be controlled until examined at the er and given multiple drugs...and she lived to vent her urine and feces another day. So, they tried lorazepam, phenobarbitol, and valproate, but had to give up, intubate her and then give her propofol, the anesthetic that killed Michael Jackson, ketamine, and lidocaine in order to stop her hysteria. And they topped it off with xenon and nitrous oxide. Damn.

But the ending and the use of a human choice and not a damn plot device to get to it was good. The length of conflict wasn't unnecessarily long. So, the best way to reconcile this with reality is that this is a joke.

Wifey stepped out on hubby, was drugged and raped, and hubby was less than gracious when he saw her at the hospital. No doubt there was preexisting marital discord because 1) she stepped out, and 2) he reacted with anger rather than love. So, good job, Author! The plot was good but sparse. But, do pay more attention to spelling and punctuation in the future. I gave you 5 stars to partially offset Mr. One-Star-Cuck-Shit who hates this stuff but nonetheless reads it.

I agree with the retired prosecutor: Conrad would go down. But the author deftly exploits the masochistic needs of the cuckold reader and lets Conrad go with little punishment. Exquisite!
I have extensive experience administering benzodiazepines and ketamine but I have never known them to make people horny. Sleepy and amnesic, yes, and ketamine is a great analgesic for some types of pain, anal penetration for one. Oral absorption is not predictable. Combined with alcohol, these drugs can cause respiratory depression leading to anoxic brain injury or death. The victim is likely to aspirate stomach contents, too. Crazy dangerous, like Russian roulette. Again, Author, good debut!
