Small, Round, Orange Pill "op" On One Side "40" On Other Side Updated December 5, 2017 Tue, March 29, 2011 I found several small, round, orange pills in the cabinet under my sink today. The letters "OP" are printed on one side, and the number "40" is printed on the other side. A friend said they were a generic oxycontin pill that was time released. Is this accurate? What is the proper dosage for this medication? Thank you for your help. 6 Replies This is not a generic, since there isn't a generic for Oxycontin, this is the name brand and they are 40mg tablets, the ones with the OP marking are the new formulation that has been made to help prevent abuse. Oxycodone is a narcotic pain reliever. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Also what doses are prescribed. Re: Verwon (# 1) So the Op on one side and 40 on the other, Google Says yellow, but they look peach to me and are supposed to be time released, but it's worn off my bottle (accidentally got wet). How do you tell if they're time released? More Discussions:
